Once you have scanned a QR code (if in store) or clicked the Breezepay button (Breezepay Logo), a check will be done to see if you are a new or existing user. If you recognised go to Step 2, If not- enter your email address to re-verify.
Step 1: New user steps
Once entering your email, you will be asked to approve Breezepay as an authorised payment method via selecting “Connect”.
Step 2: Existing User
Where you have already connected your wallet (either for a precious purchase or through the sign up process), then you will be asked to “Approve Transaction”.
A pop-up window with your wallet is shown and you are then asked to approve the transaction. The purchase amount is shown as well as any associated fees (in this case the fee is negligible and less than $0.000005). On mobile you will be directed to your wallet application.
Once you click “Approve” the transaction is complete.
The above is displayed after a few seconds, at which time you are redirected to the merchants website or are asked to close the window if purchasing in store.
